Labcoat acquisitions the Beano/Comsat Accords

So it is clear that among our different goals priority #1 is to max out our labcoat. To that end Beano who has recently acquired a bunch of gear he does not want to keep has asked me to aid him in

1. selling:
a. 1 PB
b. 15 PB noms
c. 1 PC

With the money I get from the trades, I am to acquire new labgear and Beano will put it on the backburner to eventually be paid for the gear by the fleet...

Furthermore, while Beano has generously offered to sell the 2 C3s he owns in our labcoat for 80M a piece, he has agreed to take a mere 5M cargo "down payment: towards paying for them and any other gear I acquire through my dealing here.

What follows is the "Contract" between him and I that requires approval from BJB (just as to the fleet eventually buying the gear back).





Tripartite Contract for Acquisition of C3ET and CPAI for [FDR] The Fair Deal

I have authorised you to sell:-
- 1 Plasma Cannon ~60 Million
-1 Pulsar Beam ~155 Million
- 15 PB Noms ~6-7 Million each. (edited due to fluxuating market)

I'll accept up to 5 PEs as part trades, valuing at 6-7 Mil each. (or lowest market value).

I have authorised you to purchase:-
- CPAIs
- C3ET

Using 155 Million from the sale of the Pulsar Beam and cargo from the sale of the above items.

The C3ETs and CPAIs will be loaned to [FDR] on condition that any equipment bought, by you as my agent using the above cargo/items, will be bought by [FDR] at a price equal to that of the value of the purchase at that time.

In return I will pay Comsat Angel for acting as my agent the sum of two (2) Million cargo (or equivalent) for sale of my PB and a further two (2) Million cargo (or equivalent) on sale of my PC and PB Noms. No commission will be payable for the purchase of C3ET and CPAI for [FDR].

[FDR] will undertake to purchase any and all C3ET and CPAIs already on loan from myself (Beano) to [FDR] and any additional items resulting from this agreement.

[FDR] will also undertake to provide me (Beano) with a down payment of 5 Million Cargo for the eventual purchase of all C3ET and CPAI currently on loan to [FDR] and any future purchases relating to this agreement.

[FDR] will also undertake to provide me with cookies

This agreement is between
Beano (Captain of [FDR] Pillar of Autumn)
Comsat Angel (Transaction Agent for Beano and [FDR])

Proceeds from 1 PB 15 PB noms and 1 PC

2. Bartleby
20M loan sitting in fleet armory

3. Bstkeke 500 point donation

4. GReyheart pledged 50M to the cause

c) Comsat has been paid commission in the form of 10k points sold to him at 9500 per.

d) Monies/Items held by Comsat on loan from Beano
i) 95 Mil from points sale
ii) PC valued at 40 Mil to be held for sale to Starscreemer.
iii) Further 20 Mil cargo sent to Comsat
iv) 4500 points - valued at 11k per for the purpose of this exercise - valued at 49.5 Mil.

e) 5 Mil cargo given to Beano as part buy out on all lab equipment he owns.

Is anyone else confused by all this?

Yes. But I'm all for it.

My understanding is that this thread is good for backstory, but the official breakdown of ownership is stored on the internal fleet page.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Its my method of keeping track of things! Certain people *cough* Comsat *cough* aren't very good at keeping records! Plus it allows me to see how far off a dread V I am. The fleet page is accurate.

Current situation:-
- CXES traded for part owned CPAIs and 1 Effy AI
- A further 12000 points sold to the fleet at 12K each.
- C3ETs will ideally be paid off in full in the next week or two it depends on when me and BJB are online to complete the transaction.
- Comsat appears to have forgotten all about me!
